Special Ed Teacher - Medina, Ohio

An educational opportunity is available for certified Intervention Specialists to support students in both elementary and middle school settings. This full-time position, located in Medina, OH, offers the chance to work in a supportive environment focused on collaboration and student success. The role is contract-based for the nine-month school year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction to students with diverse learning needs in self-contained, push-in, and pull-out classroom settings
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) aligned with state and district standards
• Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to enhance student progress
• Monitor student performance and adjust instructional strategies accordingly
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with educational regulations

Qualifications:

• Must hold valid teaching certification as an Intervention Specialist or Special Education Teacher
• Experience working with elementary and/or middle school students preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to manage diverse classroom settings effectively
