Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education certification (065/165/265)
- Strong background in resource room instruction and differentiated teaching strategies
- Experience working with diverse learning needs, particularly in elementary and middle school settings
- Ability to collaborate effectively with fellow educators and support staff
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Location:
- Hartford, CT
Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored educational support to students within the resource room
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate individualized education plans (IEPs) into daily instruction
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly
- Communicate regularly with students, parents, and staff regarding academic development
- Supervise students during lunch, recess, and other transitional periods as needed
