A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available for the remainder of the school year serving a middle school student population in Mesa, AZ. This contract role involves working with cross-categorical special education student populations, requiring a skilled professional dedicated to fostering inclusive learning environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to middle school students in special education.
• Adapt general education lessons and material to meet the needs of students in cross-categorical settings.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and parents to support student success.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and communicate regularly with stakeholders.
• Manage classroom behavior and promote a positive, supportive learning atmosphere.

Qualifications:

• Arizona Special Education Certification is required.
• Current Fingerprint Clearance Card must be on file.
