Special Ed Teacher - Middletown, Ohio

An opportunity is available for a skilled Special Education Teacher to support an elementary school classroom serving students with diverse needs. This contract position runs from January 20th through March 27th, with potential for extension.

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering individualized instruction tailored to 6-8 students with varying disabilities and behavioral challenges
• Collaborating closely with two classroom aides to provide effective support and maintain a positive learning environment
• Developing and implementing IEP goals and adapting curricula to meet student needs
• Monitoring student progress and communicating with support staff and families as required

Qualifications:

• Certified Special Education Teacher credentials
• Experience working with elementary-aged students with diverse disabilities and behavioral challenges
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary classroom team
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
