Special Education Teacher in Midland, MI

An immediate opening is available for a Special Education Teacher to support K-5 students in an elementary school setting. This contract position offers the opportunity to work in a resource classroom with students who have a range of disabilities. The role requires 35-40 hours per week throughout the contract school year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs
• Develop and implement IEPs (Individualized Education Programs) in collaboration with staff and families
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
• Maintain classroom management and create a positive learning environment

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
