Special Education Teacher - Millsboro, DE

This opportunity is for two skilled Special Education Teachers to support early childhood learners, ages 3-5, with a variety of disabilities. Located in Millsboro, DE, these contract positions will run from ASAP through June 12th, 2026, within an early childhood school setting. Ideal candidates hold an Early Childhood Special Education license for Delaware and have experience managing caseloads of approximately 10 students.

Responsibilities include designing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each child’s unique needs, collaborating with families and multidisciplinary teams, and fostering a supportive, inclusive learning environment. Teachers will prepare and deliver specialized lessons focusing on developmental milestones and social-emotional growth for young learners.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Early Childhood Special Education license for Delaware
• Experience working with children ages 3-5 with diverse disabilities
• Strong ability to develop and implement individualized educational programming
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with parents and staff
• Ability to manage a fluctuating caseload of around 10 students
