A part-time Special Education teaching opportunity is available in Minneapolis, MN, within an elementary school setting. This contract position is for the current school year (CSY), with a potential start date in the next two weeks. Initially, there is an opening for one teacher, with the possibility of hiring a second.

The role focuses exclusively on classroom instruction, with no case management responsibilities. The teaching environment is varied, involving co-teaching, pull-out, or push-in services across middle and high school levels. Students served include those with Emotional Behavioral Disorders (EBD), Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD), Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH), Other Health Disabilities (OHD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and Cognitive Disabilities (CD).

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Minnesota Special Education teaching license; candidates with alternative licensure may be considered.
• Demonstrated experience teaching special education students.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods for diverse learning needs, including those listed above.
