Special Education Teacher in Minneapolis, MN

A Special Education Teacher position is available within a K-12 school setting in Minneapolis, MN, on a contract basis for the current school year. This role focuses on providing tailored educational support to students with diverse learning needs, helping them achieve academic and social success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) that meet the unique needs of students
• Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and families to create an inclusive learning environment
• Use a variety of instructional strategies to support students with disabilities across multiple grade levels
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods as necessary to ensure educational goals are met
• Maintain accurate records and comply with state and federal special education regulations

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education
