Special Ed Teacher | Minneapolis, Minnesota

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement tailored Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Deliver specialized instruction that addresses various learning disabilities while promoting academic and social growth
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly to meet individual goals
• Foster an inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and success
• Communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and staff regarding student progress and needs

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification or licensure
• Experience working with K-12 students with special needs in classroom or related settings
• Strong knowledge of special education laws, instructional methods, and assessment practices
• Ability to create adaptive lesson plans and utilize assistive technology
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
