Dedicated special education teaching opportunity in a K-8 school near Minneapolis, MN, approximately 50 minutes south of the city. This full-time, contract position for the current school year (CSY) focuses on providing comprehensive services that support students’ social skills development, emotional regulation, and self-advocacy in alignment with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering tailored support to students to enhance social and emotional growth
  • Assisting with behavior regulation strategies within both special education and general education settings
  • Managing a caseload of K-8 students with diverse learning needs
  • Collaborating with educators and support staff to ensure compliance with IEP goals and educational standards

Qualifications:

  • Fully licensed to teach with an ABS license or as a School Social Worker in Minnesota
  • Experience working with K-8 populations in special education settings
  • Strong skills in behavior management and emotional support strategies
  • Ability to implement IEPs effectively and advocate for student needs
