Special Ed Teacher | Mondovi, Wisconsin

This opportunity is for a Special Education Teacher serving students across K-12 grade levels in a school setting located in Mondovi, WI. This is a contract position for the current school year (CSY), ideal for educators dedicated to supporting diverse learners through individualized instruction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement tailored Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, staff, and families to create inclusive learning environments
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed to meet goals
• Provide direct instruction and support to students with varying disabilities and learning challenges
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to decision-making processes

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Wisconsin Special Education teaching certification
• Experience teaching special education to K-12 students
• Strong knowledge of instructional strategies and classroom management techniques for special needs populations
• Ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and staff members
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Commitment to fostering a supportive, nurturing, and motivating classroom environment
