A school district in Morgan Hill, CA, is seeking an experienced Special Education Teacher for an itinerant contract position. This role is designed to support caseload overages and provide essential assistance across multiple school sites, primarily at the elementary level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support special education caseload overages by providing direct instructional and assessment services.
- Conduct student assessments and assist with the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Collaborate with educators and school staff to ensure compliance with special education requirements.
- Provide in-class support to students with special needs across various elementary school locations.
Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching credential.
- In-class special education teaching experience.
- Proficiency in conducting assessments and using assessment data to inform instruction.
