Special Education Teacher in Morton, PA

A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available to support early childhood classrooms within a well-established educational service agency. This contract opportunity offers the chance to work across three distinct classroom settings, providing specialized instruction and support to young learners with diverse needs.

Location:

• Positions located in Broomall, Aston, and Folcroft, PA
• Support provided at early childhood centers and an education center serving the region

Schedule and Caseload:

• Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
• Caseload includes three classroom needs spanning early childhood programs

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s abilities and goals
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support student growth and inclusion
• Utilize specialized instructional strategies to foster academic, social, and emotional development
• Monitor student progress and adjust programs to meet evolving needs
• Communicate regularly with families and staff to coordinate effective support

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid certification in Special Education
• Experience working with early childhood students recommended
• Strong understanding of diverse learning needs and evidence-based instructional methods
