This contract position offers a unique opportunity to work as an Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) Teacher for the 2025–2026 school year in a Naperville, IL early childhood school setting. The role focuses on supporting young children aged 3 to 5 with diverse developmental needs through specialized instruction and collaborative teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver developmentally appropriate instruction tailored to individual education program (IEP) goals.
- Differentiate teaching methods to accommodate varying learning styles and abilities.
- Conduct ongoing assessments, document student progress, and maintain detailed records.
- Collaborate closely with paraprofessionals, therapists, and general education staff to foster cohesive support.
- Lead IEP meetings while ensuring compliance with IDEA and state educational regulations.
- Maintain regular communication with families and caregivers to build strong partnerships.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or a related field.
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with endorsement in Early Childhood Special Education.
- Demonstrated knowledge of early childhood development principles and special education legislation.
- Passion for inclusive education and commitment to supporting young learners with diverse needs.
