This opportunity is for a Special Education Teacher specializing in social, emotional, and behavioral programs within a K-8 educational setting. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized instruction tailored to students with social, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Manage a caseload within the therapeutic program, providing targeted support and interventions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective educational plans
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
- Maintain compliance with state and federal special education regulations
- Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and school staff to support student development
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Special Education Teaching certification
- Experience working with K-8 students in social, emotional, and behavioral programs
- Strong understanding of therapeutic educational strategies and behavior management techniques

Location and Schedule:
- Position located in Joliet, IL, serving a district school setting
- Full-time, 1.0 FTE contract role through May 29, 2026
- Typical schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (35 hours per week)
