Special Education Teacher in Naperville, IL

A specialized opportunity is available for an experienced Special Education Teacher to support an elementary school’s K-2 structured classroom environment in Naperville, IL. This position is a short-term leave contract designed to provide seamless continuity in support for students with special needs during the academic year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored instructional activities that meet the individual needs of students in grades K-2 within a structured classroom setting.
• Collaborate with school staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in compliance with special education guidelines.
• Monitor and document student progress, adapting teaching methods to support diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes student engagement and growth.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid special education teaching certification appropriate for K-2 levels.
• Demonstrated experience working with young learners in special education settings.
