Special Education Teacher in Nashua, NH

A full-time High School Special Education Teacher position is available to support students with Emotional and Behavioral Disorders (EBD) in a dynamic educational setting. This role focuses on delivering personalized instruction and behavioral support to a high school caseload of approximately 15 students, with assistance from assigned 1:1 paraprofessionals as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver academic and behavioral instruction aligned with individualized education program (IEP) goals
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs tailored to student needs
• Establish and maintain structured classroom routines to promote a positive learning environment
• Collaborate effectively with related service providers, support staff, and families to ensure holistic support
• Utilize positive behavior interventions and data-driven strategies to address student behavior and promote success

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active New Hampshire Special Education Certification with an Emotional and Behavioral Disorders (EBD) endorsement
• Experience working with high school-aged students in self-contained and/or integrated classrooms
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
• Strong organizational and classroom management skills
