Special Ed Teacher | Nashua, New Hampshire

A school in Nashua, NH is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support K-12 students in a contract position for the current school year. This role focuses on delivering specialized instruction and support to middle school students, helping them succeed academically and socially in an inclusive environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing tailored educational services for 6-8 students on your caseload within middle school grades (6-8)
• Collaborating with general education teachers, specialists, and families to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Monitoring and documenting student progress, adapting instruction as needed to meet diverse learning needs
• Participating in team meetings, assessments, and professional development sessions
• Maintaining a positive and supportive classroom environment that fosters learning and growth

Qualifications:

• Certified Special Education Teacher license valid for K-12 education
• Experience working with middle school students in special education settings preferred
• Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Commitment to working onsite with students currently (no remote options)
