Qualifications:

  • Current and valid Connecticut (CT) Special Education Teacher certification (Other state certifications not accepted)
  • Previous school-based teaching experience required
  • Ability to commit full-time (32.5-35 hours per week) from ASAP through June 2026
  • Experience or comfort in co-taught, inclusive classroom environments

Responsibilities:

  • Partnering in a 3rd grade co-taught classroom, supporting students with diverse learning needs
  • Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborating with general and special education staff to promote a positive, inclusive learning environment
  • Maintaining accurate student records and communication with families
