This contract position runs through the current school year and is based in Pelham, NH. The role focuses on delivering specialized instruction to a small group of approximately 10 juniors and seniors, along with 10 charter school students, who are generally independent but benefit from tailored educational support.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) for high school students
• Providing instructional support to foster student independence and academic growth
• Collaborating with staff to create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment
• Monitoring student progress and adjusting teaching strategies as needed
• Maintaining accurate records and communicating with parents and school personnel

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid special education teaching certification
• Experience working with high school students in special education settings
• Strong understanding of instructional strategies for diverse learning needs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
