This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to work as a Special Education Teacher with a focus on high school Geometry and case management duties for the 2025-2026 school year. Located in Philadelphia, PA, this contract role supports the needs of high school students requiring specialized instruction and case management services, working 40 hours per week throughout the school year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized Geometry instruction tailored to high school students’ needs
• Manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and coordinate case management duties
• Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and support staff to promote student success
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as appropriate
• Ensure compliance with state and school policies governing special education

Qualifications:

• Valid Pennsylvania Special Education teaching certification (emergency certifications supported)
• Willingness to complete required PA clearances and TB testing prior to starting
• Previous experience teaching high school Geometry preferred but not mandatory
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple student cases effectively
