A full-time high school Special Education teaching opportunity is available for the 2025-2026 school year in Philadelphia, PA. This role combines teaching Geometry with case management responsibilities, offering a dynamic environment to support diverse learners in a high school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Geometry instruction tailored to special education students
- Manage individual education plans (IEPs) and coordinate case management duties to ensure student progress
- Collaborate with school staff, parents, and external agencies to provide comprehensive student support
- Maintain accurate records and comply with Pennsylvania special education regulations
Qualifications:
- Pennsylvania Special Education teaching certification is required; emergency certifications are supported
- PA Clearances completed or willingness to obtain, plus TB test prior to starting
- Previous experience teaching Geometry preferred but not mandatory
- Strong organizational and communication skills for effective case management
