Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for a caseload of up to 16 PreK students.
- Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instructional approaches accordingly.
- Collaborate with parents, classroom teachers, and support staff to create an inclusive learning environment.
- Utilize evidence-based intervention techniques to address developmental and learning challenges.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with educational standards and requirements.
Qualifications:
- Valid licensure or certification as a Special Education Teacher, preferably with a focus in early childhood or PreK intervention.
- Experience working with young children in an educational or therapeutic setting.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students, families, and team members.
- Ability to design and implement developmentally appropriate interventions.
- Patience, creativity, and dedication to supporting diverse learner needs.
Location and Duration: This position is based in Piqua, Ohio, within an early childhood school environment. The contract extends through the current school year, providing continuity of support for enrolled students.
