Special Education Teacher in Quincy, MA

A special education teaching opportunity is available for a licensed professional with severe disability credentials to serve one classroom in an early childhood setting. This contract position runs through the end of the school year and involves teaching separate AM and PM pre-kindergarten sessions.

Position Details:

• Contract role from now through the end of the school year
• Two sessions daily: morning and afternoon pre-K classrooms
• Each session is approximately 2.5 hours, totaling 25 hours per week

Qualifications and Experience:

• DESE licensure required
• Severe special education licensure preferred
• Proven experience working with students who have severe disabilities
• Ability to manage and teach young children in a specialized setting focusing on early childhood special education

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction to students with severe disabilities
• Implement specialized lessons during morning and afternoon sessions
• Collaborate with other staff to ensure student progress and wellbeing
