A special education teaching position is available at an elementary school in Rockville, MD for the current school year (CSY). This contract role offers the opportunity to work directly with students requiring specialized educational support in a dynamic school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
• Adapt instructional materials and teaching methods to meet diverse learning abilities.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to support student progress.
• Monitor and document student growth and behavior, providing regular reports.

Qualifications:

• Valid special education teaching certification or license.
