A part-time Special Education Teacher opportunity is available to support elementary students in the Saint Paul, MN area. This contract position is designed to provide specialized classroom instruction without the responsibility of case management. The role offers the chance to work closely with students across various exceptionalities, including Emotional Behavioral Disorders (EBD), Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD), Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH), Other Health Disabilities (OHD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and Cognitive Disabilities (CD).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver tailored instruction through various teaching models such as co-teaching, pull-out, and push-in support at the middle and high school levels.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers and other support staff to meet student accommodations and individualized educational needs.
  • Monitor student progress and adapt instructional strategies accordingly.
  • Create a supportive, inclusive learning environment for students with diverse learning needs.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Valid Minnesota Special Education teaching license or an equivalent licensure.
  • Demonstrated experience teaching students with special education needs.
  • Ability to manage a flexible teaching schedule and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to fostering student growth and learning within a positive and structured environment.

Location: Saint Paul, MN
Duration: Contract (Current School Year)
Schedule: Part-time, with an anticipated start within two weeks
