This full-semester contract opportunity is designed for dedicated special education teachers ready to make a meaningful impact in K-12 resource settings. Located in Saint Paul, MN, this role serves students in grades 6 through 12 within the Twin Cities area, offering both part-time and full-time positions to accommodate diverse preferences.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized instruction and support to students with special needs in resource settings.
- Develop tailored lesson plans that meet IEP goals and accommodate varied learning styles.
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to enhance student learning outcomes.
- Monitor and document student progress, maintaining accurate records in compliance with educational standards.
- Participate in meetings and communicate effectively with parents and guardians to support student development.
Qualifications:
- Valid special education teaching certification focused on K-12 education.
- Experience working with students in resource settings, specifically grades 6-12.
- Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
