  • Experience in developing and implementing IEPs

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement instructional plans aligned with curricular goals and Individual Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Create and update IEPs utilizing diagnostic information from assessments.
  • Monitor student behavior, maintaining a positive classroom environment and teaching appropriate behavioral strategies.
  • Consult with staff and parents regarding individual student strategies and classroom management support.
  • Assist students with personal needs, promoting independence in essential tasks.
  • Foster a learning environment tailored to the maturity and interests of students.
  • Assess student progress regularly and prepare reports as required.
  • Plan and supervise assignments for teacher assistants, evaluating their performance.
  • Attend staff meetings and participate in non-instructional duties as needed.
