This full-time special education teaching position serves middle school students in grades 6-8 within a resource classroom setting. The role requires delivering specialized instruction to support the diverse learning needs of students with disabilities, fostering their academic growth and social development.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid South Carolina Special Education Teaching certification
• Experience teaching middle school students, preferably in grades 6-8
• Strong understanding of special education laws, Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and differentiated instruction methods
• Ability to collaborate effectively with general education teachers, support staff, and families

Location:

Primary Responsibilities:

• Plan, implement, and adapt individualized lessons to meet students’ unique learning goals
• Assess student progress regularly and adjust instructional strategies accordingly
