A full-semester contract opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher to support K-12 students in a school setting located in Sitka, AK. This role focuses on delivering tailored educational instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs in compliance with individualized education plans (IEPs).

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) aligned with state and federal guidelines.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to enhance student learning and inclusion.
• Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and provide regular updates.
• Foster a positive and supportive classroom environment that encourages student growth.

Desired Qualifications:
