A licensed Special Education Teacher is needed for a part-time contract position in Southfield, MI, serving K-12 students for a full semester. This role focuses on providing specialized instruction and support to students with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and accommodations under 504 Plans within a public school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored instruction and support services aligning with IEPs and 504 accommodations for K-12 students.
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers to modify curriculum and integrate necessary accommodations.
- Monitor, assess, and document student progress related to IEP and 504 objectives.
- Maintain clear, ongoing communication with parents, staff, and administrators to foster student achievement.
- Ensure adherence to all state and federal special education laws and Section 504 mandates.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active state license in Special Education.
