Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education
- Active teaching license for the state
- Experience supporting students with developmental delays, ID, and Autism
- Comfortable with direct assistance, including occasional toileting
- Flexibility to work 1-on-1 with students as needed
Responsibilities:
- Manage a class of 32 students with a variety of disabilities
- Deliver specialized instruction and modify curriculum as needed
- Provide daily assistance, including Developmental Adapted (DA) support and 1-on-1 interventions
- Monitor student progress and adapt strategies to meet IEP goals
- Collaborate closely with colleagues, therapists, and parents
