Special Education Teacher - Succasunna, NJ

Engage as a Special Education Teacher supporting K-12 students in a dedicated educational environment located in Succasunna, NJ. This contract position for the current school year (CSY) offers the opportunity to contribute to students’ growth and development through specialized instruction and individualized support.

Responsibilities include:

• Deliver tailored educational programs that meet the unique needs of students with disabilities across K-12 grade levels
• Collaborate with team members to identify and implement effective strategies based on students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Maintain detailed records of student progress and communicate regularly with families and staff regarding caseload specifics and individualized accommodations
• Participate in meetings focused on special education needs to ensure alignment and understanding among all stakeholders

Ideal qualifications and experience:

• Certification or licensure in Special Education applicable to K-12 settings
• Experience working with diverse caseloads of students with varied disabilities
• Strong communication skills for interacting with parents, educators, and administrators about student-specific requirements
• Ability to create inclusive learning environments and adapt instructional methods accordingly
