This position focuses on providing teletherapy services to K-8 students in a supportive educational environment located in Burnsville, MN. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality speech and language therapy to a caseload of under 20 students, utilizing teletherapy platforms.
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in students from Kindergarten through 8th grade.
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
  • Provide training and resources to families and school staff to support communication goals outside of therapy sessions.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and therapy outcomes in compliance with educational standards.

Qualifications:

  • Valid SLP-CCC certification and state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Proven experience in a school setting, preferably with K-8 students.
  • Familiarity with teletherapy techniques and tools.
  • Strong understanding of the cultural and linguistic characteristics of Native populations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building relationships.
