Special Ed Teacher - Toppenish, Washington

This full-time Special Education Teacher position involves managing a self-contained classroom for elementary age groups in a supportive school environment. The role focuses on delivering tailored educational plans to students with special needs, with an emphasis on behavioral caseloads. The position is located in Toppenish, WA, and requires in-person teaching.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students requiring special education services.
• Provide specialized instruction to elementary students in a self-contained classroom setting.
• Effectively manage behavioral caseloads using appropriate strategies to promote positive student outcomes.
• Collaborate with school staff, families, and related service providers to support student development.
• Maintain accurate records and monitor student progress.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with behavioral caseloads in a special education setting.

• Previous experience teaching elementary-aged students in special education.
