Special Ed Teacher - Trenton, New Jersey

This long-term substitute teaching opportunity is designed for educators specializing in special education, serving high school students in a K-12 setting. The assignment runs from ASAP through the end of the school year (mid-June) in Trenton, NJ. The role focuses on co-teaching English and History classes and supporting the MD room during afternoon sessions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Co-teach two English classes and one History class with a collaborative approach.
• Provide specialized support and instruction in the MD room in the afternoons.
• Teach five 60-minute periods each day, following an eight-period rotating drop schedule.
• Manage study halls or other duties during free periods.
• Participate in daily prep and lunch breaks.
• Attend two mandatory monthly meetings: one faculty meeting and one department meeting after school.

Qualifications:

• Certification or experience in special education teaching.
