Special Education Teacher - Oxford, NC

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Valid teaching certification in Special Education.
• Proven experience working with elementary-aged students, particularly with AU and moderate needs.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially in co-teaching settings.
• Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that meet the individualized needs of each student.
• Collaborate with general education teachers to create an inclusive classroom environment.
• Provide instruction through co-teaching and pull-out services as determined by IEPs.
