A reputable early childhood school in Warwick, RI, is seeking two full-time Special Education Teachers to support K-3 self-contained classrooms. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work onsite with young learners requiring specialized educational approaches. The role starts ASAP and continues through the end of the school year (EOSY).

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
• Provide direct instruction and support in a self-contained K-3 classroom setting.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to track student progress and adapt teaching strategies.
• Maintain effective communication with families and school staff to support student development.
• Ensure compliance with all special education laws, regulations, and school policies.

Qualifications:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education.
• Experience working with early childhood students (K-3) in a self-contained classroom environment.
