A K-12 Special Education Teacher position is available in a school setting located in Waynesville, NC. This contract role spans the entire school year (CSY) and requires a dedicated professional skilled in supporting students with diverse learning needs across all grade levels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students' unique learning requirements.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to create inclusive learning environments.
• Utilize a variety of instructional strategies to meet the academic and behavioral needs of students with disabilities.
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records to inform instruction and meet compliance standards.
• Participate in team meetings, professional development, and school activities as needed.
