Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instructional services to students who are deaf or hard of hearing across K-12 grade levels.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and adapt curriculum to accommodate communication and learning styles.
• Collaborate with teachers, speech therapists, audiologists, and families to support student success.
• Utilize assistive technologies and strategies to enhance accessibility and engagement.
• Monitor and assess student progress, maintaining detailed records and reporting to stakeholders.
• Participate in professional development focused on the education of students with hearing impairments.

Desired Qualifications:

• Certification as a Teacher of the Deaf or Hard of Hearing.
