Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored instruction and support to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing, ensuring access to the general curriculum
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, specialists, and families to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Utilize specialized strategies and assistive technologies to enhance student learning and communication
- Monitor student progress and adjust instructional approaches as needed
- Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment that promotes student engagement and independence
Qualifications:
- Certification or licensure as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing
- Experience working with K-12 students in educational settings
