A School District in Easton, PA, is seeking a licensed Teacher for the Deaf/Hard of Hearing to support K-12 special education programming. This contract position runs from ASAP through June 12, 2026, with an estimated 35 hours per week following the school calendar.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement instructional programs tailored to deaf and hard of hearing students
  • Foster an inclusive classroom environment that addresses the unique needs of students with hearing impairments
  • Provide specialized education services as part of the district’s special education initiatives
  • Collaborate with school staff, families, and related service providers for student success
  • Manage all aspects of deaf/hard of hearing programming within assigned school districts

Required Qualifications:

  • Active Pennsylvania Department of Education Certification in Special Education, Hearing Impaired
  • Experience working with K-12 deaf/hard of hearing students in an educational setting
  • Ability to develop effective instructional strategies and individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Location:

  • Carbon and Lehigh County, Pennsylvania
