Qualifications:
- Valid teaching credential for Deaf and Hard of Hearing
- Experience working with K-8 students in an itinerant role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Proficiency in sign language and other communication methods
Location:
- Twain Harte, California
Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing, fostering an inclusive learning environment
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and staff to support students’ overall educational goals
- Develop, implement, and adjust IEPs in alignment with students’ needs
- Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly
