A part-time position is available for a licensed Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing to support a K-12 caseload in the Manchester, NH area. This contract role requires 10-12 hours per month, with an onsite presence between two school sites. The assignment begins immediately and continues through June 17, 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction and support tailored to students who are deaf or hard of hearing across grades K-12
- Collaborate with educators and staff at both school locations to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse needs
- Engage with families and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success within the school environment
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active New Hampshire licensure and certification as a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing
- Proven school-based experience working with K-12 students who are deaf or hard of hearing
- Willingness to work onsite at either of the designated school sites (locations to be determined between Brookline and Hollis, NH)
- Completion of district fingerprinting requirements
- Comfortable participating in a Zoom interview as part of the selection process
