Qualifications:

• Valid teaching certification in Deaf/Hard of Hearing
• Experience working with students in grades Kindergarten through 8th
• Strong ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to collaborating with support staff and families

Responsibilities:

• Instruct students in core academic subjects as well as language and listening skills
• Develop, adapt, and implement lesson plans tailored to meet individual student needs
• Collaborate with other educators and support staff to create an inclusive learning environment
• Assess and monitor student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and IEP documentation
