A full-time Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) is needed to cover a leave for the second semester at a high school approximately 30 minutes north of Boston, MA. This contract position offers an opportunity to support a high school student with visual impairments by providing specialized instruction tailored to their educational needs.

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering direct instruction and support to a visually impaired high school student
  • Assessing student abilities and adapting curriculum materials to meet individual learning goals

Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI)
  • Experience working with high school students who are visually impaired
  • Strong knowledge of Braille, assistive technologies, and accessibility tools
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to customize instruction to meet diverse learning needs
