Qualifications:

• Valid Washington state license for Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI)
• Proficiency in Braille
• Experience working with K-12 students, preferably in an itinerant role
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt curriculum and teaching strategies to meet diverse needs

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with visual impairments
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and other staff to ensure a supportive learning environment

• Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and maintain accurate student records
