An educational opportunity is available for a licensed Teacher for the Visually Impaired to support K-12 students within a contract position for the 2026 calendar school year. This role requires working onsite in Cambridge, MA, with flexible options for full-time or part-time hours between January 26 and June 18, 2026.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction and support to visually impaired students across the K-12 spectrum.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Employ adaptive teaching strategies and assistive technologies to enhance student learning.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and related documentation.
Qualifications:
- Active Teacher for the Visually Impaired license and Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (MA DOE) license.
- Successful completion of required MTEL examinations.
- Experience working in educational settings serving visually impaired students.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work onsite in Cambridge, MA, during contract dates.
