Teacher of the Visually Impaired in Dublin, OH

A school district in Dublin, OH, is seeking a qualified Teacher of the Visually Impaired to provide specialized instruction to K-12 students with visual impairments. This part-time contract position is available immediately and will continue through the end of the current school year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group instruction tailored to the needs of visually impaired students from kindergarten through 12th grade
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and support staff to develop and implement appropriate education plans
• Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
• Provide training on the use of assistive technology and adaptive materials to support learning
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and district policies

Qualifications:

• Active Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) license valid in Ohio
• Experience working with visually impaired students in a K-12 setting preferred
• Strong knowledge of specialized instructional strategies and assistive technologies for visually impaired learners
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
