Teacher of Visually Impaired in Greensburg, PA

A full-time opportunity is available for experienced Teachers of the Visually Impaired to support K-12 students in a school setting located in Greensburg, PA. This contract position runs through June 16, 2026, providing specialized educational services to visually impaired students within Washington County.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized instruction and support to visually impaired students across K-12 grade levels
• Develop and implement specialized lesson plans tailored to students’ needs and abilities
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to promote student success
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all educational regulations and standards

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) required
• Proven experience working with visually impaired students in school settings
• Strong knowledge of teaching strategies and assistive technologies related to visual impairment
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work onsite full-time, committing to a 37.5-hour workweek
